Ce weekend, Made in Calais fêtait le printemps et s’était pour l’occasion installée dans les locaux de l’association Chez Achille. Petit retour en images sur ces deux jours à Boulogne sur Mer.
Lilla Rogers’ Bootcamp February Gallery is now open! Check out my submission here (amongst more than 500 entries): http://bootcamp.lillarogers.com/wp-content/plugins/lilla-rogers-gts/viewimg.php?post_id=773&img_id=497#viewImage
Well, I’m sure my submission could have had more personality, but anyway I learnt a lot during this month. To be followed…
Work in progress.
Today is my Etsy shop's second birthday!
As it is not possible to share a little glass of champagne with you, I offer you 20 % off all my shop, today, Monday 27th of January, until midnight (French time)!
You just need to place the code HAPPYBIRTHDAY2 with your order !
Yeah, I know, I’m so sorry about the title of the project, it seems people at the City hall of Calais don’t speak a single word of English (It’s not as if Calais were France’s closest city from UK…). :O
Actually, “Fartçade” is a pun between the words “façade” and “art”. It’s a pity our closest neighbours can read it as “fart sad”… Epic fail.
So, let me introduce you to the Fartçade project, a collective work for the City, with contributions from many local artists and associations.
My association Made in Calais has been invited to join the project, so we received five 2.5 x 2.5 panels (divided in two parts : “basement” and “roof”) on which to express ourselves !
It’s the first time I work on such a big scale, and that I use stencils and spraypaint. A great experience !
The exhibition will open on January 31st in the City Hall of Calais.
My new business cards. Gold, black, simple. :D
